At Endeavour Academy, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, nurturing and ambitious community where every child is valued and supported. Our staff work hard to help children feel confident in themselves and proud of what they achieve.
Endeavour Academy is a bright and modern building, designed to make learning feel engaging and enjoyable. Classrooms are calm and purposeful, while shared areas give pupils space to explore ideas and work together in different ways. We are also fortunate to have a large outdoor area, which offers a wide range of play and learning opportunities throughout the year. While reading, writing and mathematics form the foundation of our teaching, our curriculum extends far beyond these core skills. Children enjoy a wide range of inspiring learning experiences across the arts, technology and sport, alongside educational visits, specialist teaching and enrichment activities that help them grow in confidence and independence.
If your child needs additional support, you can be assured that they will receive thoughtful, tailored provision from our experienced SEND team, who work closely with families to ensure every child can flourish. We also value the wellbeing of our whole school community, and our pastoral staff are available to offer guidance and a listening ear whenever it is needed.
Beyond the classroom, our pupils enjoy a wide range of extracurricular clubs and activities—from sports to creative opportunities—that help them explore new interests and develop new talents. Our breakfast club runs every morning, providing a friendly, calm start to the day for our children along with a nutritious meal.
Many children begin their Endeavour journey in our Early Years Foundation Stage. Our skilled and caring team creates a warm, nurturing environment that helps every child make a confident start. Our Nursery class offers places for three‑ and four‑year‑old children, including up to 30 hours of government‑funded provision each week for eligible working families. It provides a wonderful first step into school life and helps children feel ready for Reception. We also welcome families whose children have not attended nursery before, as well as those joining us from other early years settings. If you would like to come and see our Early Years provision in action, our staff would be proud to show you around.
We welcome children at different points in their primary journey, and we are always pleased to support families who choose to join our school. If you’re new to the area or considering a change for your child, we would be delighted to meet you. Visits are encouraged, and appointments can be arranged through the School Office on 0161 368 3366.
