On Wednesday 11th September 2019 Lower Key Stage Two had a fantastic visit to Hyde Town Hall to see the renowned storyteller John Kirk perform Roald Dahl’s ‘The Twits’. The children thoroughly enjoyed hearing the story told in this way, they were enthralled throughout. Some children even got the chance to perform in the ‘upside down monkey circus’. The children also enjoyed finding out how John Kirk had become a professional story teller and how he remembered a whole book.
As always the children were a credit to the school, walking sensibly through Hyde and showing great manners during the performance.
